Virginia M. Russo

Virginia M. Russo, 88, of Perth Amboy passed away December 23, 2019, at Haven hospice at JFK Medical Center.She was born in Queens, New York.

Virginia worked for Abraham & Strauss as sales associate. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph J.Russo; her parents, Harry Fearon and Margaret Gardner and her brother, Alfred Fearon.

She is survived by her 4 children; Raymond J. Russo and his wife Julie, Joseph J. Russo and his girlfriend Robin Rakett, Nicholas A. Russo and his wife Lori and John E. Russo and his wife Wanda; her 4  grandchildren; Joseph, Stefanie, Nicholas, and Samantha; her 6 great grandchildren; Joseph, Emmeline. Gianna, Audrianna, Noelle and Tessa. And her sister, Marilyn Brandt.

Visitation hours will be on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 4-8 PM  at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at 9 AM at the funeral home, followed by a 10 AM Mass  at Saint John Paul II Parish at St. Stephen’s Church.

Interment will be in Saint James Cemetery, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s research Hospital.
