Valdy Lazaronek

Valdy Lazaronek, 73, of South Amboy, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on October 6, 2025, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge Division.

He was born in Szczecin, Poland. Valdy graduated from a vocational school, specializing as a technician in the shipbuilding industry. He was also a professional rowing athlete and proudly participated in a European championship competition.

In 1980, he immigrated to the United States, where he continued to nurture his love for the water and enjoyed spending time on his boat. Before his retirement, he worked as a truck driver.

He was predeceased by his parents, Henryk Lazaronek and Maria Kotarba. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bernadeta Kulig, and his son, Przemyslaw Lazaronek.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Stephen’s Church on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Private cremation will follow.
