Roque Amantino Gonzalez Nuñez

Roque Amantino, Gonzalez Nuñez, 89, of Perth Amboy, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at the Raritan Bay Medical Center.

He was born in Janico, Dominican Republic. He was communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church.

Roque was an honest, responsible, kind, humanitarian, patient, charitable, hardworking, and very righteous man. He enjoyed nature,share with family and friends and say “caquito duro” to his grandchildren.  

He was predeceased by his parents; Rosendo Gonzalez and Jovita Nuñez.

He is survived by his nine children; Amantino de la Cruz Gonzalez, Carmen Gonzalez, Eugenia M. Gonzalez, Sergio R. Gonzalez and his wife, Maria Pilar,  Francisca G. Gonzalez, Juana E. Gonzalez and her husband Ramon C., Lourdes B. Gonzalez, Mateo E. Gonzalez, Marta R. Gonzalez and her Husband, Fermin A.; his eighteen grandchildren;  Vanessa, Dalisa, Kathy, Melissa, Sandy, Jaira, Raquel, Rosanna, Rocio, Rubi, Elvis, Eva, Felix, Abel, Catherine Cecilia, Karina, Kiara. And his seventeen great-grandchildren.

 Due to the covid-19 crisis, a private funeral is scheduled with Ana Mria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ.

 Interment will be in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery
