Ramona Mercado

Ramona Mercado, 71, of Woodbridge, passed peacefully, on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.

Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. Ramona was member of Bethel Christian Church.

She was predeceased by her parents, Pedro Muñiz and  Natalia Galarza Cruz, her brother Angel Muñiz

Ramona is survived by her husband Angel Mercado, her 3 children, Juan Guerrero and his wife Varinia,, Abraham Muñis and Ivy Galarza  and her husband Ildrain Figueroa, her 4 grandchildren; Ashley, Anthony, Kevin and Brian; her 6 siblings, Ana Lydia Muñiz of Puerto Rico, Margarita Muñiz of Florida, Virginia Rivera from Pennsylvania, Reinaldo Muñiz of Florida, Laurentino Muñiz of South Jersey, and Arsenio Muñiz of Florida.  Also, many nieces and nephews and close friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019, at 11 AM at Bethel Christian Church, 185 Hall Ave., Perth Amboy.

Entombment will be in Alpine Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Bethel Christian Church, from 2-10 PM
