Ramon Apolinar Abreu

Ramon Apolinar Abreu, of Perth Amboy, passed away at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, on August 8th, 2023, at the age of 62.

Born in La Vega, Dominican Republic, Ramon was known to all as a very gracious and kind man who would help anyone in need. As a devout Catholic, he held dear the word of the Lord and kept its teachings wherever he went. Ramon was also known for his love of dominoes, his favorite game.

Ramon is predeceased by his parents, Leopoldo Abreu and Teresa Abreu.

He is survived by his brothers, Rafael Abreu and his wife Lidia, Ysidro Abreu and his wife Millie, Ramon Nelson Abreu and his wife Minerva, and Wilfredo De Jesus Abreu and his wife Anita, his sisters Ana Lucia Abreu, Luz Del Carmen Abreu and her husband Stanislao Olivo, and Ramona Abreu, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 10th, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Ana Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11th, 2023, at 9:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 AM mass at St. John Paul II Parish at St. Stephen’s Church.

Burial will take place in Alpine Cemetery.
