Rafaela Guzman

Rafaela Guzman, 86, of Perth Amboy, passed away December 5, 2019, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

She was a very active member at the Apostolado del Sagrado Corazon de Jesus in Dominican Republic.

She was a woman of strong faith in God and valued the importance and rewards of hard work in life.  Her greatest joy was to entertain her family, she enjoyed music and loved flowers.

She is predeceased by her parents Rafael Grullon and Adelina Guzman and her son Carlos Guzman.

 She leaves behind her Husband, of 68 years, Salvador Guzman, her children; Jose Guzman, Lorenzo Guzman and his wife Altagracia, Carlos Guzman and his wife Marta Garcia, Teresa Guzman and her husband Daniel Colon, Carmen and her husband Segundo Campos, Maritza and her husband Danley Robinson, Isabel Guzman, Marlin and her husband David Fix, and Roque Veras and wife Sisi Heredia.

Her grandchildren; Juan Carlos Guzman, Carlos Manuel Guzman, Carolina Guzman, Melina Garcia, Yaneli Garcia, Josue Guzman, Drusila Guzman, Jose Salvador Guzman, Jose Agusto Guzman, Lionel Peña Perez, Josefina Guzman, Jose Juan de Mata Guzman Campusano, Carlos Jose Campusano, Laura Guzman, Lawrence Guzman, Paola Mateo, Joel Rosa, Maidel De La Cruz, Anyela Cruz, Nicole Guzman, Paola Javier, Ramon Barber, Samuel Barber, Stephanie Guzman, Hectsy Matias.

And her great grandchildren; Marian Andriluz, Andru Jose, Jose Anibal Guzman , Jonabel Elias Guzman, Donna Michelle Guzman, Zoeth Espinoza , Mia Espinoza, Maite Guzman, Daniela Guzman, Adele Rosario, Andrey Valdez, Adriel Valdez, Adelina Arias, Lukas Rosa, Zailee Rosa, Jayden Camacena, Jared Camacena, Jadeliz Andrades, Damek Andrades, Alonso Guzman, Jared Guzman, Mia Guzman, Lia Guzman, Marjorie Guzman. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 4-8 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ

Funeral services will be on Monday, December 9, 2019, at 9 AM at the funeral home, followed by 10 AM mass at Most Holy Name of Jesus at Our Lady of Hungary Church.

Burial will take place in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery.
