Rafael Jimenez Peralta

Rafael Jimenez Peralta, 85, of Perth Amboy, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at his residence.

He was born in Banao, Dominican Republic, and later moved to the United States, where he worked for several years at Bradlees in Edison, New Jersey. Rafael was known as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who deeply cherished his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Nelly Acosta; his four children, Rafael Emilio Jimenez and his wife Brahilin, Genaro Jimenez and his wife Ivelise, Maria Altagracia Jimenez, and Maria Juliana Jimenez. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren who will lovingly remember him.

All services will be held privately with the family.
