Pedro Italo Tejada

Pedro Italo Tejada, 80, of Perth Amboy, passed away on May 15, 2020 at Saint Peter’s Hospital, New Brunswick.

He was born in Arequipa, Peru.

Pedro was loving husband, father and grandfather.  In his early 30th he arrived to US to find better future for his family through hard work and dedication, he gave his family the very best a husband, father and grandfather can ask for. The biggest lesson he taught his children was to be humble and to have unbreakable bond with each other.  He was strong humble, generous man, who loved to teach his mathematical skills. Loved to cook, tell stories and show off his crafty side.  Alongside of his oldest son, Italo M. Tejada protected his family. He will be missed and loved.

He was predeceased by his parents, Gregorio Tejada and Luisa Rivera. And his son Italo Tejada, April 12, 2020.

Pedro is survived by his wife, Juana Yolanda Saenz; his 3 children, Michael, Wilder and Ricardo. And his two grandchildren.

Private Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Burial will take place in Alpine Cemetery. Graveside service by Our Lady of Fatima Church.

Pedro  Italo Tejada fue un amoroso esposo, padre y abuelo.  Nació en Arequipa, Perú. A los 30 años, llegó a Estados Unidos en busca de un futuro mejor para su familia,  a través del trabajo duro y la dedicación hizo exactamente eso,  darle a nuestra familia lo mejor que un esposo, padre y abuelo podía dar. La lección más importante  que Él nos dejó es que debemos ser humildes y que nuestra familia tenga un vínculo inquebrantable siempre, fue un hombre fuerte, humilde y generoso al que le encantaba enseñar sus habilidades matemáticas, cocinar, contar historias y mostrar su lado astuto.  Junto a su hijo mayor, Italo M Tejada, protegieron a nuestra familia.  Te extrañaremos  y te amaremos siempre.
