Pedro Luis Nuñez

Pedro Luis Nuñez, of Perth Amboy, passed away on August 26th, 2023 at Complete Care at Westfield in Westfield, NJ, at the age of 60.

Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Pedro loved to swim and loved biking, a hobby he would take with him throughout his life. In 1973, he would eventually leave his native Puerto Rico and move to New Jersey.

Pedro was known for his love of music, especially salsa, and his friendly and happy demeanor to all. A hard worker as well, he was always with a smile and was always a pleasure to be around.

He is predeceased by his parents, Pedro Nuñez and Ramona Mercado.

Pedro is survived by his son, Fabian Nuñez, his sisters, Judith Mercado, Maria Teresa Rivera and husband Pedro Cardona, Delia Medina and husband Angel Arboleda, Martha Kampel, Luz Campbell, and Gloria Nuñez, his brothers, Daniel Nuñez and wife Nancy Zayas, Pedro Nuñez, and Luis Nuñez, and several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 6 PM to 9 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 10 AM, followed by graveside services at Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy, NJ.
