Olga Lopez

Olga Lopez, 71, of Perth Amboy, passed away on April 8, 2021 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Division of Perth Amboy.

She was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico, later residing  in Bronx, N Y and in Perth Amboy. Olga was a cancer survivor.

Olga loved to spend time with her children especially her grandkids, she was a loving and caring person always thinking of others first. She enjoyed watching novelas, cooking, playing bingo and wouldn’t go a day without her crossword puzzles.
She enjoyed dancing and listening to salsa music. She was a very spiritual person and very over protective of her family. Olga wouldn’t go out the door without having her favorite pink lipstick, and her dangling earrings. She was 71 but appear to look 35, she was just so full of life. We are going to miss her beautiful smile and eyes that would brighten up any room. “We love you mommy with all our heart one day we will meet again”.

She was predeceased by her parents; Gregorio Lopez and Jesusa Serrano, and her daughter, Caridad Rodriguez.

Olga is survived by her 5 children; Carlos Marrero, Angel Olivieris, Graciliano Santana, Stefanie Morales and Olga Lopez; her 20 grandchildren, her 20 great grandchildren. And her 3 siblings; Maria Lopez, Gregorio Lopez and Anibal Lopez.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021at 9 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery.

All visitors must wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing rules at all times. We are asking visitors to limit their time in the funeral home to allow the family the maximum amount of guests possible
