Monserrate Martinez

Monserrate Martinez, 101, of Perth Amboy, NJ, passed away at Venetian Care & Rehab Center in South Amboy, New Jersey.

Monserrate was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, later immigrating to the United States in the 1950’s, where she later resided in Perth Amboy.

She was known for her love of dancing and cooking, and was always known for her love of music.

Monserrate is predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Awilda Martinez, and is survived by her son, Raul Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20th, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ, followed by burial services held at Alpine Cemetery at 11:30 AM.
