Marian Zdanowicz, 76, passed away the morning of Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.
Marian was born in Poland, where he lived with his family until 1993. At 47, he immigrated to the United States and settled in New Jersey. While living in New Jersey, he worked at Sterns and Freeway Warehouse Corp. in Farmingdale, New Jersey.
He was an amazing and genuine person who always had a positive outlook towards life. He was the most caring person one could ever meet and loved his family, especially grandchildren, with all his heart. He entertained family and friends with jokes and stories from his own life. He enjoyed sipping coffee while watching old Western movies, reading magazines and solving crossword puzzles. He never failed to lend a helping hand to those in need. Naturally, he loved to work with his hands, mainly on cars and carpenter work. He was an avid dancer during parties, especially during ABBA songs and his favorite Demis Roussos song (“Goodbye, My Love, Goodbye”). He was loved and respected beyond measure by everyone; family and friends
He is survived by his wife Krystyna; two children, Robert and Sylvia; four grand-children, Maciej, Wojciech, Izabela and Alexander; son-in-law Plamen; daughter-in-law Malgorzata, and brother Edward.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 7-9 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.
Private cremation.
