Maria Magdalena Trinidad Martinez

Maria Magdalena Trinidad Martinez, 57, passed away on Friday July 1, 2022, at the Beth Israel Medical Center, in Newark, New Jersey.

 Maria was born in Sabana Grande de Boya, Dominican Republic, and immigrated to The United States several years ago, establishing her residence here in Perth Amboy, NJ. She worked as a packer for Barnes & Noble, at the Monroe, NJ branch for more than ten years.

Among friends and family, Maria was known as happy, brave, and strong person; she was kind of leader to her family, and never afraid to take the initiative. Her love for her family, especially her nephews and nieces, was the most important thing for Maria; and whenever she had time, she used to spend it taking care of her flowers.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Felipe Pichardo and Ysabel Martinez.

She is survived by her brother, Romulo Trinidad, and by her six nephews and nieces.

Family, friends and others whose lives Maria Magdalena touched are invited to Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrochy Home for Funerals, 467 State St., Perth Amboy, NJ, on Wednesday, July 6th, from 7 to 9 PM to reminisce, grieve, and support each other.

Her remains will be transferred to the Dominican Republic, where burial ceremonies will take place at Cementerio Cristo Salvador.
