Maria Elvira Rosario Melendez

Maria Elvira, Rosario Melendez 69, of Perth Amboy, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.

.She was born in Moca, Dominican Republic. She lived in the Bronx before moving to Perth Amboy.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and children and sewing. She loved all kind of flowers.

Maria Elvira was predeceased by her father; Danelio Rosario, and her husband Luis Francisco Lantigua.

She is survived are her mother, Lidia Melendez, her three children; Valentin Lantigua, Carmen Lantigua and Rosario Lantigua; her 9 grandchildren and  two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 3-5 PM, at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861

Private cremation.
