Lorena Del Carmen Fernandez

Lorena Del Carmen Fernandez Vasquez, of 83, of Perth Amboy, passed away at Raritan Bay Medical Center on November 27, 2023.

She was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

Lorena is survived by her parents; Pedro Antonio Fernandez, and Maria Efiginia Vasquez.

She is survived by her four children; Elvis Sanchez, Alberto Tavaras, Ana and her husband Afra Taveras, and Maria Pagan; her eight siblings, Nereida A. Fernandez, Juana Fernandez, Consuelo Fernandez, Cristina Fernandez, Elizabeth Fernandez, Eneiro Fernandez, Rafael Fernandez and Fernando Fernandez; her ten grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Funeral services will be on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 9 AM at the funeral home, followed by a 10 AM Mass at Our Lady of Rosary of Fatima Church.

The burial will take place in Alpine Cemetery.
