Julian is survived by seven siblings; Francisco Vargas and his wife Felipa, Maria Cristina and her husband Miguel Almonte, Maximo Vargas and his wife Belkis, William Vargas and his wife Jaquelina, Josefina and her husband Julio Cesar Nuñez, Ignacio Antonio and his wife Valentina and Sebastian Vargas. And several nieces and nephews.
