His family was always his top priority, and he found great joy in cooking for his loved ones and hosting gatherings filled with warmth and laughter.

A man of deep faith, Juan was a very active member of his local parish. He served as an usher, assisted with church maintenance, and frequently volunteered to cook during parish retreats.

Juan was predeceased by his beloved parents, Emilio Marrero and Flerida Del Carmen Taveras.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Filomena Altagracia Marrero (née Tavares), and their four children: Carlos Jose Marrero and his wife Morel; Francisco Alberto Marrero and his wife Natalia; Willi Federico Marrero and his wife Yuleisy; and his daughter Jovanny and her husband Jairo Garcia.
