Juan Alberto Luna, 56, of Fords, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.
Juan was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and immigrated to the United States in 1986. A family-oriented man with a kind and generous spirit, Juan was known for his warmth, friendliness, and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. He never hesitated to lend a hand and was beloved by friends and family alike for his selflessness and joy.
A hard-working man, Juan balanced dedication to his career with a love for travel, particularly to his homeland of the Dominican Republic, where he had dreams of retiring.
He is predeceased by his parents, Juan Nicanor Luna and Silvia Ramona Garcia.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Juana Gertrudes Acosta; his five children, Jeury Luna, Jairo Luna, Cristian Blanco, Jennifer and her husband, Cliff Range, and Genesis Luna; his four siblings, Denise Luna, Juan R. Luna, Sixto Luna, and Juan I. Luna; his five cherished grandchildren; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Funeral Home, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08661.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 9:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at Saint Stephen’s Church. Interment will take place at Alpine Cemetery.
Juan’s legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
