Jozefa Romanowska

Jozefa Romanowska, 98, of Perth Amboy, passed away surrounded by her loving family, on May 10th, 2023.

Jozefa was born on March 28th, 1925, in Monki, Poland, to Boleslaw Danilowski and Waleria Kuczab.

Jozefa immigrated to the United States from Poland in 1971 with her husband Waclaw Romanowski. She was a devout Catholic and a loving mother to her children, and a doting grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jozefa had a love for life, and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known for her kind and caring nature, and she had a heart of gold. Her family was her world, and she took pride in taking care of them. She loved all king of flowers and enjoyed crocheting.

Jozefa was predeceased by her husband, Waclaw, as well as her parents, Boleslaw Danilowski and Waleria Kuczab.

She is survived by her son, Kazimierz Romanowski and his wife Mary, her daughter Maria and husband Robert Rozyla; her grandchildren, Robert, Margaret, Agatha and Christopher and her great-grandchildren, Maxymus, Maverick, Leo and Lucia.

Visitation for Jozefa will take place on Monday, May 15th, 2023, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, located at 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 9 am on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023, followed by a 10 am mass at Saint John Paul II Parish at St. Stephen's Church in Perth Amboy, NJ.

 Burial will take place at Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy, NJ.
