Joseph Malinowski, 77, of Woodbridge passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at Jersey Shore Hospital.
He was born in South Amboy, New Jersey.
Joseph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and friend.
Joseph dedicated his life to his craft as a roofer, working tirelessly for many years with pride, strength, and an unwavering work ethic. Outside of work, he found great joy in fishing and in spending quiet, content moments sitting in his garage in a place where he could relax, reflect, and enjoy the simple comforts of life.
A proud Navy veteran, Joseph served his country with honor, carrying that same sense of duty and loyalty into every aspect of his life. He was known by all who loved him as a loyal friend—someone you could always count on, no matter what the circumstances.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents, John and Bernadine Malinowski; his sister, Linda Starrick; and his brother, Michael Malinowski.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Margarita, whose love and companionship were the cornerstone of his life.
He also leaves behind his five children Anthony J. Malinowski, Joseph J. Malinowski, Layla Kenjorski, Gisela Blanco and Monica V. Castillo who will forever carry his lessons, strength, and love in their hearts. Joseph was a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
Joseph’s legacy is one of hard work, devotion to family, and steadfast loyalty. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
May he rest in peace.
