Josefina Batista

Josefina Batista, 27, of Perth Amboy, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

She was born in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. She loved nature, flowers, especially sunflower. Josephina was a cheerful and funny person, she was happy traveling. She graduated from Perth Amboy High School and received her medical assistant associate degree from Middlesex County College. Josefina attended Saint John Paul II Parish at Saint Stephen’s church.

Josefina is survived by her parents, Juan Batista and Miguelina Vargas and two brothers, Juan Miguel Batista and Maximo Alexander Batista.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 7-9 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

A funeral service will be held at 9:00 AM, Friday, April 28, 2023, at 9 AM the funeral home, followed by a 10 AM mass at Saint John Paul II Parish at Saint Stephen’s Church.   

Burial will take place in Alpine Cemetery.
