Jose M Batista Hernandez

Jose M. Batista Hernandez, 76, of Perth Amboy, passed away on January 31st, 2024, surrounded by his family at his home in Perth Amboy.

Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Jose was known for his love of gardening. He could be found tending to his fruits and vegetables, which he loved to share with his neighbors and his family. Jose will be remembered by his family as a loving father who was always willing to help wherever he could. He was Catholic and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church.

He is predeceased by his parents, Jose Maria Batista and Gregoria Regina Hernandez.

Jose is survived by his daughters, Evelyn and Mildred Batista, and his three grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 4th, 2024, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Funeral services will be on Monday, February 5th, 2024, at 9 AM at the funeral home, followed by a 10 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church.

The burial will take place in Alpine Cemetery
