Jorge Alfredo Galeas, de 71 años, residente de Perth Amboy, falleció en paz el 22 de diciembre de 2025 en el Raritan Bay Medical Center de Perth Amboy.

Nació en Usulután, El Salvador, y más adelante estableció su hogar en Perth Amboy, donde fue un esposo, padre y abuelo dedicado.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Israel Galeas y Esther de Jesús Mejía. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Maria Esther Garay Galeas; sus cuatro queridos hijos;  Erick Galeas y su esposa Antonia, Jorge Galeas, Jerson Galeas y Yanira. Sus trece adorados nietos, su nieto Jerson Jr. Galeas en los Estados Unidos y su nuera Marisol, quienes conservarán por siempre su recuerdo en sus corazones.

La velación se llevará a cabo el domingo 28 de diciembre de 2025, de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., en Ana Maria Zevallos / Skrocki Home for Funerals, ubicado en el 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

La cremación será privada.

He was born in Usulután, El Salvador, and later made his home in Perth Amboy, where he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Jorge was predeceased by his parents, Israel Galeas and Esther de Jesús Mejía. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Esther Garay Galeas; his four loving children; Erick Galeas and his wife Antonia, Jorge Galeas, Jerson Galeas and Yanira Galeas. His thirteen cherished grandchildren, one of them in USA, and his daughter in law Marisol, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, located at 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Private cremation services will follow.
