Hugo Rafael Batista-Perez

Hugo Rafael Batista-Perez, 78, of Carteret, passed away March 2, 2021, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Division of Perth Amboy.

He was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and he spent his career working as a tow truck operator.

Hugo was a person full of generosity and was always friendly to all. Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes.

He is predeceased by his parents, Rafael Batista and Ana Perez.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Antonia Saad-Batista, his ten children, his twenty-two grandchildren, and his twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Private cremation.

All visitors must wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing rules at all times. We are asking visitors to limit their time in the funeral home to allow the family the maximum amount of guests possible.
