Fidel Gomez

Fidel Gomez, age 80, died on Saturday August 27, 2022 at Alameda Center for Rehabilitation in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Originally born in Michoacan, Mexico, He immigrated to The United States many years ago, and established his residence here in Perth Amboy.

Fidel worked for City of Perth Amboy, in the maintenance department. He loved spending time with his family, but especially the times shared with his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, with whom he enjoyed eating ice cream and strawberry shortcakes. Fidel liked fishing, watching old movies, playing bingo, conquian, and listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his parents Crecenciano Gomez and Juana Sanchez. He is survived by his children: Teresa Gomez, Crecenciano Gomez, Reyna Gomez, Hermelando Gomez, and Gabriel Quidera; as well as by his twelve grandchildren and fourteen greatgrandchildren.

Fidel’s family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, September 1st, 2022, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 state street, Perth Amboy, NJ.
