Evelyn Christensen

Evelyn (nee Silasi) Christensen, 77, of South Amboy, passed peacefully, on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick.

Born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, she had resided  in South Amboy, most of her life. She worked for Bell Atlantic Co for 35 years.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, she loved playing lottery, scratch offs and watching the cooking channel.

Evelyn was predeceased by her father Julius Silasi, and her husband, Warren Christensen Sr.

Survived by her mother, Elizabeth Barbara Silasi, her 3 children; Warren Christensen and his wife Robin, Dawn Ruskai and Sharon Christensen; her 4 grandchildren; Zena, Warren, Chase and Shannon; her 2 sisters, Barbara Gronbach and Debra Estok and her best friend, Joann Gonzalez.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 6, 2020 from 5-9 PM, at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861

Private cremation.
