Eufemia Nunez

Eufemia Nuñez, 70, passed away peacefully, on Sunday July 31st, 2022 at her home in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Eufemia was born in La Vega, Dominican Republic, and immigrated to The United States many years ago, establishing her residency here in Perth Amboy, NJ

Eufemia was a very religious person, and an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Church; she liked to spend time with her family, but especially with her grandchildren.

Eufemia was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Hernandez and Mercedes Hernandez.

She is survived by her husband Jorge Nuñez, her 3 children; Oswaldo Nuñez and his wife Patricia La Torre, Mayra Nuñez and her husband Osiris Acosta and Rosa Nuñez and her husband Juan Arias; and by her 5 grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday August 3rd., from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ.

Funeral Services will take place on Thursday August 4th, at 9:00 AM, at the funeral home, followed by 10 AM Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church.

 Burial will take place in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Keasbey NJ.
