Carmen Perez

Carmen Perez- Cruz, 54, of Perth Amboy passed away suddenly on September 20, 2022.
Carmen was born in Perth Amboy to Virgino and Josefina Cruz on February 3, 1968.

Carmen was a homemaker ensuring her children were well taken care of. She was a devoted church volunteer spending countless hours passing out donations, food and giving back to her community. Carmen was a bright light to many that knew her. She would always leave a person with a smile regardless if they were having a bad day. Carmen's best quality was that she was an amazing mother giving everything she had for her children. Her 3 sons adored their mom and are truly saddened by the loss of their beautiful mother.
Carmen was predeceased by her father Virgino, Brother William, and Sister Norma.

 Carmen is survived by her 3 children Angel Cruz, Frankie Jerez and Joshua Sierra; 7 grandchildren, Jacob, Angel, Anahs, Evan, Javier, Greyson and Mariella; her siblings Marisa, Nereida and Jamie, her Godson Jarell, as well as her nieces and nephews; Jovan, Daniel, Antonio, Ely, Jeanece, Mathew, Natalie, Jerradh, Markus, Jennifer, Jocelyn,, Jalil, Jallissa and Jerell.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 9 AM – 11 AM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, home for funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Alpine Cemetery.
