Carmen H Ortiz

Carmen H.Ortiz, 60, of Perth Amboy, passed away on March 19, 2022 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, division of Perth Amboy.

 Carmen Ortiz, 2nd generation Puerto Rican born in Perth Amboy, was a devout Christian, she devoted her whole life to her religion and beliefs.  She was an elegantly rare beauty and her demeanor stood out in the small town of Perth Amboy, as rare as she was a beauty, she was also altruistic, compassionate and impartial to everyone she encountered, she helped and sheltered many people, in times of despair she was the rock others leaned on and those are just few words that can be spoken about the wholesome soul she was. Despite obstacles or troubles she always kept positive and stayed strong until her last moments. She left this world far too young but she leaves cherished and loved with many memories her loved ones will carry with them for a lifetime.

She was predeceased by her parents Marcos Ortiz and Carmen Aponte.

She leaves behind her husband Rogelio and 4 children Haydee, Kelly, Felicia, Janil and 13 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jacob, Carlos, Darius, Angelique, Jeneva, Saniyaha, Sofia, Jeilyn, Joey, Jordan, Luis and Eileen

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
