Carlos Jorge Iglesias

Carlos Jorge Iglesias, 82, of Perth Amboy, passed away on July 26, 2018, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.

He was born in La Habana, Cuba. He was a lawyer, expert in criminology. Carlos Jorge loved his homeland, honorably served his country in the Cuban Armed Forces as a lieutenant Colonel.

He liked to read, to watch baseball and boxing and his Cuban coffee; fan of the New York Yankees and loved to wear a hat of this team. He was a well prepared man, of strong character but of a great heart, he loved to spend time with his family in US, during summer.

He was a great son, husband, father and grandfather, “a pride for his family”, his family will miss him.

He is survived by his children, Maura Beatriz, Adriana, Carlos and Daniel; his grandchildren, Grettel, Raudel, Rangel, Yuneysi, Hector and Daniela

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Carlos Jorge iglesias, 82, de Perth Amboy, falleció el 26 de julio de 2018, en Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.

Nació en la Habana, Cuba. Era abogado, experto en Criminología. Carlos Jorge amaba a su patria, honorablemente sirvió a su país en las fuerzas armadas, con el cargo de Teniente Coronel.

Le gustaba leer, ver baseball y boxeo y el café cubano; los Yankees de Nueva York, fue su equipo favorito y siempre usaba la gorra de este equipo.   Era un hombre muy preparado, de carácter fuerte pero de un gran corazón, le encantaba pasar tiempo con sus nietos en los Estados Unidos, especialmente durante el verano.

Fue un extraordinario hijo, esposo, padre y abuelo, "un orgullo para su familia", su familia lo extrañará y cada uno lo llevara en el corazón.

En vida quedan sus hijos, Maura Beatriz, Adriana, Carlos y Daniel; sus nietos, Grettel, Raudel, Rangel, Yuneysi, Hector y Daniela.
