Carlos Luis Colon Leon

Carlos Luis Colon Leon, of Old Bridge, passed away on August 5th, 2023, at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ, at the age of 79.

Born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, Carlos moved to Perth Amboy at the age of 20 and left back to Puerto Rico when he retired. He was currently back in NJ visiting. 

He enjoyed shopping in English town Flee Market, collecting old school bicycles and classic cars, he enjoyed social gatherings and being with friends, gardening planting vegetables, and mostly spending time with his two granddaughters and enjoyed outings with them. His favorite activity was walking every day and challenging his self to see how many more miles he can walk daily. Carlos was a hardworking and loving father and grandfather. 

Carlos was predeceased by his parents Pablo Colon and Leonor Leon, and his wife, Marina Perez Peña.

He is survived by his one daughter Sujeiri Colon and two granddaughters Marina-Rae D Williams and Shealynn G Williams. 

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Burial will take place in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico.
