Candida Elvira Valera Peña

Candida Elvira Valera Peña, 90, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on April 9th, 2024 at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, PA.

She was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, later immigrating to the United States.

A loving mother and grandmother, she will be missed by her family and loved ones.

Candida is predeceased by her parents, Manuel Leonico Valera and Aurora Peña.

She is survived by her son Luis Manuel Valera, her daughter, Candida J Miranda, her four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday April 14th, 2024, from 7 – 9 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Burial will take place in Dominican Republic.
