Camilo A. Canela

Camilo A. Canela, 87, of Perth Amboy, passed away on September 23, 2020 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division.

He was born in La Vega, Dominican Republic.

He was communicant of Our Lady of Hungary Church

He was predeceased by his parents, Adolfo Canela and Teodora Coronado.

Camilo is survived by his wife, Irene Minaya  Canela; his 9 children, Rene, Daniel, Toni, Eddy, Juana, Mercedes, Luz Maria, Librada and Sonia; his 25 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

He will be remembered and missed by all.

Visitation will be on Thursday September 24, 2020 from 5-9 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Funeral services will be on Friday, September 25, 2020, at 9 AM at the funeral home, followed by 10 AM Mass at Our Lady Of Hungary Church.

Burial will take place in Alpine Cemetery.

All visitors must wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing rules at all times. We are asking visitors to limit their time in the funeral home to allow the family the maximum amount of guests possible.
