He was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Apolinar was predeceased by his parents, Tomas Fuentes and Rosaura Peralta.

He is survived by his wife, Lucia Mota; his 7 children, Polin Fuentes, Bernarda Perez, Carmen Fuentes, Brigida Fuentes, Genoveva Medina, Australia Fuentes and Elsa Duran; his 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Burial will take place in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery.
