Alicia Cruz, 66, of Monmouth Junction, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Penn Medicine Hospital, Plainsboro.
She was born in Casma – Ancash, Peru. She moved from Peru to USA in 1989. Alicia worked for Ward Products, Taylor Communications Company and Mary Kay.
She was devoted to Señor de los Milagros and member of the Sahumadoras. Alicia was a good daughter, mother, sister and friend, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was good woman and generous with a loving heart. She enjoyed music and loved to dance. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Eleuterio Roque, and her husband Elicier Cruz in 2014.
Alicia is survived by her mother, Luisa Gallardo, her daughter Aliely Cruz and her husband Juan; her brother Jorge Roque and his wife Margarita; her five sisters, Rosa Roque, Isabel Roque, Zoila and her husband Ismael Felix, Irene and her husband Antonio Bances and Angelica and her husband Gustavo De La Cruz; several nieces and nephews. And many friends who were fortunate to know her and her beautiful friendship.
The family will receive relatives and friends Monday, June 15, 2020, from 7-9 PM and Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from 9-11 AM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.
Only 10 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time. All visitors must wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing rules at all times.
Alicia will be buried in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Keasbey. Graveside service will be by Saint John Paul II Parish.
