Alberto Nicanor Ramos Atoche, 84, of Perth Amboy, passed away peacefully at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy, on October 27, 2025.

He was born in Trujillo, Peru. Alberto immigrated to the United States about 23 years ago. In Peru, he worked as a mechanic, and in the U.S., he was employed at Costco Warehouse as an operator.

Alberto was a generous man — a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed having his family together, sharing food, love, and time. He was a friendly and giving person who cherished his friendships. He loved to dance and listen to music, especially “La Sonora Matancera,” and he also enjoyed playing the guitar.

He is predeceased by his parents, Carlos Ramos and Clotilde Atoche.

He is survived by his beloved wife Yolanda Ruiz; his five children: Percy Ramos and his wife Rosario, Alberto Ramos and his wife Silvia, Juan Carlos Ramos, Ivonne Ramos, and Ana Maria Ramos and her husband Cesar A. Rebaza; and his ten cherished grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ.

Private cremation.

Alberto Nicanor Ramos Atoche, de 84 años, de Perth Amboy, falleció pacíficamente en el Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy, el 27 de octubre de 2025.

Nació en Trujillo, Perú. Alberto emigró a los Estados Unidos hace aproximadamente 23 años. En Perú trabajó como mecánico y en Estados Unidos se desempeñó como operador en el almacén de Costco.

Alberto fue un hombre generoso, un buen esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo. Disfrutaba tener a toda su familia reunida, compartiendo comida, amor y momentos juntos. Era una persona muy amable y generosa con sus amigos. Le encantaba bailar y escuchar música, especialmente la de “La Sonora Matancera”, y también disfrutaba tocar la guitarra.

Le preceden en la muerte sus padres, Carlos Ramos y Clotilde Atoche.

Le sobreviven su esposa Yolanda Ruiz; sus cinco hijos: Percy Ramos y su esposa Rosario, Alberto Ramos y su esposa Silvia, Juan Carlos Ramos, Ivonne Ramos, y Ana Maria Ramos y su esposo Cesar A. Rebaza; además de sus diez queridos nietos.

Las horas de visita serán el jueves, 30 de octubre de 2025, de 5:30 PM a 9:00 PM, en la funeraria Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ.
