Adalgiza Altagracia Polanco

Adalgiza Altagracia Polanco, 74, of Manchester, passed away on March 16th, 2024, at Complete Care at Green Acres in Toms River, NJ.

Born in Yaque Arriba, Dominican Republic.

 Adalgiza is remembered as a dedicated and loving mother to her children who was friendly and kind to all. She was the first born out of 11.

She loved cooking, cross-stitching, gardening, and arts & crafts.       

She is predeceased by her parents Juan Jose De Jesus and Nelly Maria Viñas, her late husband Elpidio Polanco and her brother Rafael De Jesus.

Adalgiza is survived by her children, Arturo Polanco and his wife Brisa, Omar Polanco, and his wife Evelyn, and Celeste Polanco and her husband Joseph Henriquez.  Her seven grandchildren; Ariana, Leah, Rafael, Gavin, Joey, Laila, and Joshua. Also, her siblings, Alberto De Jesús, Eduardo De Jesús, José De Jesús, Carmelo De Jesús, Yrcania Collado Diomedes De Jesús, Edith Vélez Carmen De Jesús, and Miguel De Jesús.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024, from 5 PM to 9 PM at Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki, Home for Funerals, 467 State Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 21st, 2024, at 9 AM at the funeral home, followed by a 10 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church.

The burial will take place in Alpine Cemetery.
